In life there are once in a lifetime moments and if we’re extremely lucky, we’ll be blessed by a once in a lifetime soul, the kind that enters one’s life, shakes it up and fills our days with an extraordinary sense of all things wonderful about being alive, they make life magical. That was and is Bowie, our baby, our brother, our hero, always more a boy than a cockapoo, everything about Bowie was epic, he was large in presence, sincere and lived with conviction, he had his own way of doing things. Made of magic and honor, charming and humorous, he contained multitudes or simply put, Bowie was always doing Bowie things. A soul like Bowie’s brings upon a lifetime of majesty, kissed of beauty, embraced by the warmest hug imaginable and the loss of that, the heaviest of hearts. Saying goodbye in this lifetime to our lovely Bowie has been unimaginably hard and through our grief we know that keeping Bowie’s magic alive is not just a comfort but a purpose, one that makes the ordinary, extraordinary, one magical moment at a time. Bowie’s world was built on kindness, deep connection and love and in keeping his energy and legacy alive, our pledge is to continue to find ways to keep on Doing Bowie Things.
